Nose:
A strong and spicy nose with lots of rye and malt. But straight after that you will smell sweet toasted aromas of vanilla, caramel and lots of raisins. Wood spices like black peper and nutmeg.

Palate:
Full, strong mouthfeel with lots of oils. Gives a spicy kick at first, than the brown bread, caramel, vanilla and raisins shows up too the party. In the back more citrus and stone fruits with hits of spices, nuts, coconut and ceder wood.

Finish:
Medium finish with lingering wood spices, ongoing vanilla, caramel and raisins.

Conclusion:
A powerful and spicy version of the malt and rye 46%. The higher alcohol percentage is noticeable, but this is because this is a cask strength version at 58% ABV. If this bothers you, you can also get the normal version at 46% ABV. The cask strength version does give you more powerful and full flavors.
