Nose with a melange of dried fruits of apple and orange peel, wood spices like cinnamon. Hints of smoke and dark chocol

Rich, medium bodied and smoky, with bitter wood flavors, dried fruits like orange marmalade and some nuts, caramel dark chocolate and vanilla.

Medium long finish with smoke, vanilla, raisins and nuttiness.

Conclusion:
This award winning single malt whisky is the first in the Viking Legend series. It’s a powerful smokey one. This whisky has strong smoke flavors but also some delicate citrus, wood, and vanilla flavors. The Highland Park’s peated floor malt is usually mixed with unpeated malt that’s bought in at a ratio of 1:4 before mashing but for this expression Highland Park used 50% fully peated barley and 50% unpeated barley.
