The Macallan released a seasonal selection of 5 bottles in honor of their spiritual house Easter Elchies. These seasonal selection where a single cask limited edition and hand picked by The Macallan. These bottles where only available for purchase to vistors that visit the distillery. The prices for these limited edition single cask seasonal selection tripled even before they hit the shelfs. This proves that everything Macallan comes up with double or triple in value over time. These seasonal selection bottles are highly collectibles and hard to het your hands on now days.
8 year old - Summer
Summer 2006 seasonal selection from Easter Elchies. A single cask limited edition of only 550 bottles. The bottle was only available to visitors to the distillery.
The first bottle of the ‘Seasonal Selection’ series which dates from 2005 – 2007 that has been discontinued. This “Summer” was bottled as an 8 year old with only 550 bottles produced.
